About the building
A three-story stone pagoda from the Unified Silla period standing in front of Daeungjeon Hall at Bulguksa Temple, commonly called Seokgatap. Three body stones and roof stones rise from a two-tier platform in calm, well-balanced proportions, and it is designated as a National Treasure.

Design notes
Following the proportions in photographs (lower platform width to total height of about 1:1.6), the first-story body stone is tall and the second and third are low. The platform and body faces use tiles clipped onto side-stud bricks to show the stone panels and the corner and middle pillars (uju and taengju), and plates widen one stud at a time under each roof stone to form the stepped supports. The finial stacks round parts to show the rings and the jewel. Every part passed the automatic connection check.
